Opt out of sale and sharing

Participating law firms pay TortMatics, so delivering your request to them may be a “sale.” Advertising measurement may be “sharing.” To opt out:

• Submit an opt-out on our privacy request form, or email privacy@tortmatics.com with the subject “Opt out” and the email or phone number you used.
• Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We treat it as an opt-out for that browser.

We process opt-outs within 15 business days (sooner where the law requires) and pass them to law firms that received your information. If you opt out after asking us to deliver a request, we will stop further deliveries; the firms that already received it must honor your opt-out as well.

Limit the use of my sensitive personal information

We use sensitive personal information — such as health information — only to provide the service you request, and never for advertising. To withdraw your consent to our using or sharing it, choose “Limit sensitive information” on the privacy request form. We will stop processing it except as needed to comply with law.

No discrimination

We will not deny service, charge different prices, or treat you differently for exercising these rights.
