The consent you may give

When you request a review, you can choose to check this optional box. This is its exact wording:

Optional: By checking this box, I agree that TortMatics (operated by FusionByte Media LLC) and the participating law firms for the campaign I selected may call and text me about my request at the number I provided, including calls and texts made with an autodialer, an artificial or prerecorded voice, or an AI-generated voice. This consent is not a condition of any purchase or service, and I can submit without it. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. I can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP or by any other reasonable means.

Key points

  • The box is never pre-checked, and you can submit a request without checking it.
  • Consent covers TortMatics (FusionByte Media LLC) and the firms named for your campaign on the partner list — no one else, and only about your request.
  • If you don't give this consent, we and participating firms may still reply to you by email, or by calls placed without an autodialer or artificial, prerecorded, or AI voice, about the request you made.
  • We call and text only between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. your local time, Monday to Saturday, and no more than three times in 24 hours.
  • We check numbers against the National Do Not Call Registry, state lists, and our own do-not-call list.

How to stop

  • Reply STOP (or END, CANCEL, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, OPT OUT) to any text. Reply HELP for help.
  • Tell the person who calls you.
  • Email support@tortmatics.com or use any other reasonable means.

We stop all calls and texts across every campaign within 24 hours and pass your request to the firms that received your information, which must stop within 10 business days as required by law. We may send one text confirming your opt-out.

Records

We keep a record of the wording you saw, when you agreed, and a TrustedForm certificate that independently records the session, for five years after our last contact with you.
